Johnson is a renowned filmmaker and photographer. His films include the award-winning documentaries "Zebulon Pike and the Blue Mountain" and "Damon Runyon’s Pueblo". He currently teaches for Colorado State University Pueblo, University of Colorado Denver and at various community colleges. The John Deaux Art Gallery exhibits a wide selection of Johnson’s fine archival, silver halide photographs. The photographs are unmanipulated, imaginative and published in several photography books.
